How It All Started

Fyrestoke Meal Prep was founded by Manda Slater and Logan Young around one simple idea: restaurant-quality meals should be accessible, convenient, and genuinely enjoyable to eat.

Fyrestoke Meal Prep is an extension of Fyrestoke Catering Co. That means the same 17 years of experience in cooking, hospitality and catering is brought to every dish.

Both Manda and Logan want every meal to be prepared with real ingredients, scratch-made sauces, premium proteins, and locally sourced products. So that you receive bold flavour, generous portion meals that are ready whenever you are—daily, with zero compromise on quality.

At Fyrestoke, food is more than fuel. It's something worth looking forward to. Simply heat, eat, and enjoy.

Meet Manda

Manda has been cooking professionally since 2011, building her career by training under a Red Seal chef through live-fire cooking, restaurant kitchens, fine dining, large-scale catering, and meal production.

Her experience has always centered around one principle: creating food that delivers exceptional flavour while maintaining consistency at scale.

As Head Chef, Manda leads menu development and production, combining culinary creativity with the discipline required to execute thousands of meals with precision.

Her belief remains simple and unchanged: food, community, and fire belong together at the heart of every Fyrestoke meal.

Logan Young
Co-Founder & Operations

Meet Logan

Logan brings more than a decade of experience across hospitality, retail, e-commerce, and business operations. His background taught him that exceptional food is only part of the customer experience. Reliable systems, thoughtful planning, and consistent execution matter just as much.

At Fyrestoke, Logan oversees operations, logistics, and customer experience, ensuring every order is prepared, packed, and delivered with the same level of care that goes into the food itself. His focus on organization and efficiency helps turn Manda's great cooking into a seamless weekly meal service.

Together with Manda, he helps keep Fyrestoke grounded, intentional, and reliable.
